Woodless Graphite - Artists

Cretacolor Monolith is a large, 7.5mm diameter, woodless, graphite, artists pencil, which is covered in a thin layer of plastic to prevent smudging and to protect the fingers from soiling. They lay down smooth and intense shades and are ideal for both portrait and landscape sketching. Broad strokes, subtle shading and fine line work are all possible. 
The 4B grade  Aqua Monolith  is especially suitable for watercolour paintings: either as a pure graphite aquarelle pencil or for use as a sketching pencil in combination with other watercolour pencils.
Faber-Castell Woodless Graphite pencils can be used for producing precise lines as well as broad strokes. They can be used wet or dry to create an infinite range of tonal variations. The soft, wide graphite strip is ideal for general sketching purposes and can be used to achieve dramatic line and wash effects.
Staedtler Woodless Graphite pencils are solid, extruded, pre-sharpened graphite sticks providing dust free writing. The smooth, lacquered finish keeps hands clean and every bit of the stick can be used. 
Progresso Woodless Graphite pencils are pure, solid, graphite sticks thinly coated with plastic. Recommended for portrait and landscape work.
